Panasonic EQ-512 is an adjustable-range reflective photoelectric sensor in the EQ-500 series, designed for DC operation and object detection from 0.1 to 1.0 m at the maximum setting. Its two-turn mechanical distance adjuster supports BGS or FGS sensing, with selectable Detection-ON or Detection-OFF operation, automatic interference prevention and a response time of 2 ms or less. The 12–24 V DC sensor provides NPN and PNP open-collector outputs up to 100 mA, uses an infrared LED, and carries an IP67 enclosure rating for industrial environments from -25 to +55 °C.
